Marysue busted out her favorite J Brand/Christopher Kane neon jorts today and balanced out the brightness with a Frank & Eileen linen button down, Lemlem scarf, Isabel Marant boots, and multicolor belt from Target.  We love it!

We asked Marysue if anything inspired her when getting ready this morning.

“JORTS are back!  I finally had the courage to break out my neon pink jorts this morning since it was beautiful and sunny.  I felt like being racy and just went for it!  Originally, these fit more like biker shorts (skinny and to the knee), so I went up a few sizes, cut about four inches off and rolled them up…voila!  Homemade boyfriend shorts.”

Call me a kid in a candy store, but I want all of them…

Juan Carlos Obando, or "JC" as he likes to be called, is currently en route to Capitol for a trunk show this Tuesday and Wednesday! He is notorious for his brilliant colors and his Fall/Winter 2012 season held true to his reputation showcasing a citron v-neck halter gown…

In preparation for the trunk show at Capitol, JC pulled his favorite pieces for custom orders in every color imaginable. Welcome JC to Capitol and on his first ever trip to the Queen City!

Kicking it over to the West coast to celebrate one of my dearest friend's last days as a single lady.  She's one of my favorite people, so there was no way I was going to miss this trip.

We'll start the weekend off in San Francisco.  As soon as I arrive, I'll throw down my bags at the hotel, freshen up, throw on my new Girl. by Band of Outsiders navy jumper, and head out to Wreck Room for cocktails with the crew.

Saturday morning, we will say adios to San Fran and make our way over to Sonoma for a day of wine tasting.  I made sure to pack my favorite new pair of Golden Goose Laguna studded toe sandals since we will be on our feet most of the day.

That evening, after some R & R at the hotel spa, we will make our way to El Dorado Kitchen for dinner.  I must admit I already scoped out the menu...and the Heirloom Beet Salad and Dungeness Crab Cake are already calling my name.  I'm sure I'll be thirsty, so I'll have to wash that down with a Peach Jalapeno cocktail or two.

To wrap up the weekend, we'll have brunch at our hotel, then all head back to San Francisco where we'll part our separate ways.  It's going to be a quick trip, but one I know that will be well worth the miles!!
